T-Mobile don’t ‘officially’ supply the iphone 29 Mar 2008 … The latest version of the iPhone 2.0 firmware that was just seeded to … actual youtube frontend in Safari just for searching,but they do use a subsiduary to get it through the back door.
If you’re thinking of getting an iPhone, tell them you’re happy to go to another provider instead an voila – one will magically appear!
But don’t expect to get any employee discount transferred – ooooooo no, that was swiftly removed from my account without a mention.
Personally, I’d just go to another provider – in my experience t-mobile customer service is not good.Will this work with the new firmware 2.0 upgrade? I’m thinking of picking up an old EDGE iPhone to use with my tMobile account. Thanks!

Update #1: Chris Hunkele has provided an analysis at the end of the post that seems to suggest the iPhone 2.0 is fundamentally incompatible with the T-Mobile.
